This week I have stumbled upon some great finds! Mostly from amazon, and there are some amazon links included in this post, just as a heads up. The first share is a book- Verity
I started this book this weekend while camping but didn’t have much time to really dig into so I picked it up again yesterday and OH MY GOODNESS am I hooked. I read 3/4 of it yesterday and I so look forward to finishing it tonight. It is all about a writer, not very well known and struggling to get by, who is approached by a publishing company to complete a series of a very well known writer. It is dark and unexpected and has kept me glued to the pages to see what could possibly be happening next. It is most definitely an adult read so teachers out there, do NOT buy this one for your classroom.
The next find I am loving is my air fryer!
I actually got this during the amazon prime day sales and it has been a life saver in my house for summer. First off, my oven is a little older and it takes forever to preheat, which is a bit of a pain to remember to turn it on about an hour before I want to start cooking. Also, it makes the whole kitchen hot and no one wants that during 90-100 degree days here in Nevada. But this little air fryer cooks things quickly, keeps my kitchen the same temperature, and it healthier! Talk about a win!
The next thing is something I purchased for my bathroom. I was using those little air freshener pod things that you unwrap the plastic and twist it but they are not very cute, let’s be honest. And I found didn’t even work that well (the cats’ litter box is in there so it is necessary!). So I decided to try something different-
Not only is it pretty, it smells amazing! I went with the orange blossom scent but they also have jasmine & lily or oud wood.
I officially jumped onto the robot vacuum cleaner train and I’m never looking back.
I bought this one as part of the prime day sale as well and it has been such a time saver! It is much cheaper than some of the name brand ones and while I have never used any other brands besides this one, it works fantastically. Which is really saying something since we have two cats, a dog, and a small child in my house. I do have a two story house and only use this for the bottom story but I love that my regular vacuum can stay upstairs and not have to be hauled up and down as much. I highly recommend it!
My last find are these bluetooth earbuds-
I have been wanting some for awhile, at least since my iphone stopped having a headphone jack. But the airpods as so expensive. I finally looked up some on amazon and found these that are highly rated and only $20! I couldn’t pass that up. I have been using them for a few days and they are fantastic, especially for the gym. If you are looking for some bluetooth earbuds that work great but don’t cost an arm and a leg, give these a try!
